The Chorus, now in its 33rd year, is a non-profit, educational, artistic, and recreational organization established exclusively to benefit the general public, for which it provides music and from which its membership is composed. We are committed to rehearsing and performing choral repertory at the highest level of choral artistry achievable by the members.
News in Brief:
- Mark your calendars!
The Winter concerts will be Dec 5th and Dec 7th, 2008. We will be joined by the Port Townsend Youth Chorus. See Concerts page for details.
- Notes from our Director, Diane Thompson: Music binds us together. It ignores borders and boundaries of all kinds. It is "The Universal Language". Some of us tune into the rhythms of a piece, feeling it "in our bones." Others tune into the melodies and harmonies that, without explanation, stir us. Still others might connect first with words of the text; a poem, a story perhaps, that moves us in some way. May this performance's music fill you with happiness and peace.
